Michael Jackson's Child-Support
This organisation is set up in loving memory of Michael Jackson. "HELP ME HELP THE CHILDREN" is what he asked us. We heard his message and want to act on it. Please help to realize several projects in Africa. Such as building schools and planting water wells. Help Michael in quest to make this world a better place.
Everybody knows that Africa is a poor continent in need. Torn apart by war, greed and corrupt governments it needs our help badly in many ways. Everybody knows the images of hungry people, refugees and poor homes. I was especially shocked by the contrast between the rich (us) and the poor. One visit to Africa and you will be able to put everything from your own live in perspective. We are an organisation that will try to help the needy children around the world, starting with the children in Uganda. It is our intention to start with a school project in Uganda (East Africa) hoping to give the children there a better future hope and more importantly a chance of getting a better education as 'Knowledge is power'. After the school project we would like to focus on water wells and much more basic and fundamental needs.
We would like you to meet little "Uncle" Marvin (see picture). This little boy was just five years old when we met him. His mother is deaf and dumped Marvin at his grandmothers house and left. His father is going in and out of jail neglecting the child. His grandmother does not have the money to send Marvin to school, so he simply was not going. Our organisation collected enough money to send Marvin to School.
Unfortunately there are many children like "Uncle" Marvin in Uganda. The little baby shown on the photo was found in the woods with bats already feeding on the baby's umbilical cord. The baby was saved, but what will the future hold for this child that will most likely be placed in a foster home?

Also AIDS is and has been a huge problem in Uganda. This epidemic leaves many children in the orphanages. The orphanages provide nothing more then food, a place to "live" (more like a roof over their heads) and some clothes to wear. With no education these children are condemned into poverty.
It is our goal to build a full self supporting Bording School in Nabalanga (area near Kampala = Capital of Uganda). The school will be a modern secondary school, as the area already has a primary school and a University. But a secondary school is not present there? Currently we have about 100 hectare of land in Nabalanga put in our disposal. Attached to the school we will build a large farm with chicken, cows, banana threes and vegetable garden. This school and farm will create a municipality of employment for the locals.
With just a few minor adjustments it will be possible to make this school the best secondary school in whole Uganda. I have witnessed several of these schools and noticed that the students sleep in dorms of 50 students and more. They have a trunk for their belongings and that is about it. By creating rooms to put 4 students together and giving them their own bed, closet and table space they will be able to study in private and more focused on getting good grades.
It is our future aim that when the school is finished we will bring the students in contact with possible sponsors through webcams and the Internet. Sponsors can make donations for one or more students. Helping out with their school fee, school uniforms and school supplies. There will be a direct contact between sponsors and the students and they will be able to follow the student's progress. Special scholarships will be made available for the most promising students of the primary school.
In the realisation of this project it is my dream that people around the world are welcome to visit the school and stay there for a period of time. Special quest rooms will be made available that can be booked in advance for sponsors to get a taste of the real life in Uganda and experience what it is like without the luxury that we are accustomed to.
